One of the first alleged alien photographs to resurface in recently released US government-related UFO files has turned out to be far older than many online viewers first believed.

The Pentagon on Friday began releasing hundreds of files on UFOs after President Trump ordered the documents to be made public.

“The American people can now access the federal government’s declassified UAP files instantly,” the department wrote on X, referring to unidentified anomalous phenomena, the modern term for UFOs.
