The Trump administration announced the release of newly declassified Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena records, launching a Department of War website to provide public access to government files as part of a transparency push.

According to a report by the Indian Express, the US Department of Defence has published around 161 declassified files. It is to be noted that more files are expected to be released. The documents reportedly include military reports, astronaut accounts and civilian sightings which have been collected over several decades.
