GameStop has submitted a more than $55 billion offer to acquire eBay, aiming to combine eBay’s powerful online platform with GameStop’s retail stores and cut costs.

GameStop — which became a household name during the meme stock craze of 2021 — has offered $125 per share for eBay, half in cash and half in stock, the company announced Sunday.
