10th anniversary of Multiply this year, which feels wild but also a lot has happened in that 10 years. This album was made from 2011 - 2014, and spanned my whole personal life through that time, which was a mad time. Going from playing pubs and clubs to selling arenas in those years, falling in and out of love, travelling all round the world, working with some of the best producers in the world, it was a real rollercoaster, and it’s been amazing to revisit all the memories. 10 years of Photograph. This was the first song I finished for Multiply that felt like something special. The album was very much built and moulded around this song, but it took so long to nail the production. What I love about this song is it can have so many iterations. I used to watch Sons of Anarchy religiously on the 2014 Multiply tour. I loved how they fused music with all the scenes so tweeted how I wanted to buy the musicial director of the show a pint. @sutterink got in touch after that and asked if I wanted to record a song for the penultimate episode of the final season. My answer was ‘absolutely yes, but can I have one of the cuts’ (jackets from the show, iykyk). He agreed, and told me what the scene was and descriptions of it. It fit my friend @foyva
