Let’s talk about firestarters! To make them, I can reuse things I have accumulated both in life and in candle making. I start with cardboard egg cartons, and fill them with wick trimmings, shavings from my husband’s woodworking projects, leftover wax from candle testing, and paper towels I’ve used to wipe out my candle pouring pitchers. The end result isn’t gorgeous, but is very functional for a wood-burning fireplace! | Mason & Mason Handmade
