Indonesia’s Mount Merapi volcano continued its days-long eruption on Tuesday, sending ash clouds several miles long into the nearby air. According to Reuters, at least 8 villages have reported being covered in ash, and activities like tourism and mining in the area have been temporarily halted as a result of the volcano. Located in central Java, Merapi is the country’s most active volcano. Though this most recent activity does not seem to pose significant risk to residents yet, Merapi has a hist
