Excited for the 2026 season. Went through surgery last Dec. 29, 2025. Now we gotta recovery again for 1 month and hopefully will be back on the bike on January 29, 2026 (indoor first). Looking forward to getting muddy again but for now, rest is required to recover well. Can’t wait to race again in the middle of the year and back to international racing end of the year! Topic: Nerve Blockers Surgery type: ORIF Broken Fibula Nerve blocker was administered before anesthesia and the procedure was about 10-15 minutes for me, 2 injection sites. Pain level: 9/10 Notes: Did help with pain for about 2.5 days for me. Be mindful it does feel like you are hauling a sack of potatoes so becareful after surgery not to hurt leg since it is numb. But yes looking back I would do it again. To anyone going through this my messages are open for questions, wishing you all a speedy
