JUST IN: Omaheke Region governor Pijoo Nganate says questions are being raised about why people should be concerned about being killed by water polluted by uranium leaching when they don’t have access to water at all. He said the region is in dire need of development against the backdrop of 300 children being diagnosed with malnutrition between January and June this year. About 266 of these cases were hospitalised due to malnutrition, while 26 have died and nine have been readmitted. Update: JEM
