When it comes to toddlers who are still not sleeping through the night, I start by asking parents how they might be unintentionally reinforcing those wake ups. My method of gentle & responsive sleep training is totally possible with toddlers, but it’s mainly about everything you do leading up to sleep & preparing them mentally than what you do when you actually lay them down, although that’s important too. Toddlers crave control, but once they get it, they actually feel very insecure and overwhe
