I have very mixed feelings about this movie...The cinematography was beautiful, the island felt alive, and McConaughey was doing that intense, sweaty, mysterious thing he does so well. I was locked in, expecting a solid neo-noir thriller...Then the movie completely lost me...The big twist and the way the story shifts into this meta, reality-questioning direction felt too sudden and poorly executed...
