Taking –off substructure works with columns

Substructure work is underway on the SR 353 bridge replacement in Washington County. It’s one of the bridges wiped out during Hurricane Helene, and one of the two remaining route closures – down from the original 49. Crews are currently pumping and pouring concrete shafts and filling washed-out approaches. The project is expected to be complete in May 2026. | myTDOT
