Leca can be a great medium to use. This is what I do to prep my Leca. I do like to rinse and soak my Leca before each use. I do rinse it in a salad spinner because it makes the process so much easier for me. I also let it soak in the salad spinner. I think it’s important to soak your Leca before each use so it doesn’t have to work too hard to wick up the water you add. This way the plant will have an easier start.
